Our Story

Mission Statement for Cloutier EFS

Estate & Financial Strategies was founded by its current President, Henry "Hank" Parrott, in 1995 in Dover NH. An insurance and investment advisor, Hank wanted to break out of the restrictive "captive agent" system to which most advisors belong. Hank believed, (and still does) that an Advisor's first loyalty must be to his clients. With that, he took the bold step of leaving Phoenix Home Life Mutual Insurance behind, to create a better way of doing business.

Hank quickly discovered that investment was only one piece of a very complex puzzle. His clients needed comprehensive planning and at the time no one was providing it. He immediately sought attorneys, accountants and like-minded financial experts to build a network of professionals. As a result, EFS clients reaped the benefits of this unique team approach.

In 2001, Hank moved the company's headquarters to Brentwood TN. He was able to service his new and existing clients by splitting his time between the two states.

As EFS grew so did Hank's notoriety. He became a mainstay on local television, and began appearing on shows like MSNBC's "Final Bell" and CNN's "Market Report". As a nationally recognized IRA expert, industry leaders sought out his advice and insight.

With the frequent flyer miles piling up, Hank decided he needed help. In 2007, he turned to Anthony Cloutier and asked him to consider taking over his New Hampshire clients. Anthony jumped at the chance. "Having someone as well respected in the financial world as Hank, as a mentor, is a once in a lifetime opportunity."

Under the leadership of Anthony, the company became The Cloutier Group's Estate & Financial Strategies, a Registered Investment Advisor. Anthony was able to provide a new piece to the retirement puzzle with his innovation in the field of Income Planning. In addition, he has continued the tradition of comprehensive planning and maintained our network of legal and tax professionals.

Today, we at The Cloutier Group’s Estate & Financial Strategies, still believe that and Advisor's first loyalty must be to his clients. Together with our partners, our mission: To give All of our clients the highest level of service, combined with sensible and impartial advice, has never wavered.
